Original Fender Tube Chart Labels
As found pasted
to the inside surface of your
amp cabinet. We found these in an old Fender Service Center, they date
from the '70s and '80s.
Note: 7025 is the same as 12AX7/A.
In the old days, when tubes
were still made in the USA, "7025" was RCA's 'industrial' number for
'low
noise' 12AX7/A with special spiral wound filaments. Later, many 12AX7/A
were manufactured to 7025 specs, rendering this distinctive designation
somewhat obsolete. In all cases, a high quality 12AX7A, ECC83 or other
tube under the same name will replace a 7025.
