N.O.S. '50s Fender 7 Pin Snap On Shield Tube Socket

'50s Genuine Fender NEW OLD STOCK brown Micanol tube socket! As used on '50s Fender tweed Harvard amp for the 6AT6 tube. This type of socket accepts a snap on tube shield. Mounts to the top of the chassis through an approx. .625" bore hole. Mounts to top of chassis with two machine screws, mounting centers approx. 1.144". Great for restoring older amps or for building vintage replicas. We bought a quantity of these sockets from an old Fender Service Center. Fender Part Number 049643 was imprinted on the ancient bin we pulled these from. Before you buy these make sure you can source the original snap on type shields; they're getting to be very hard to find. We've got a few for sale currently.
