Good quality nine pin Noval J-slot tube socket, white ceramic body,
metal
contacts appear to be silver plated, has center post for grounding.
Mating
spring loaded aluminum tube shield is included; finish quality of this
shield is a little rough but acceptable for the price. Good for 12AX7,
12AT7
and
other small signal tubes. Fits to top of chassis through a 3/4" hole,
1&1/8"
screw mounting centers. As found on many NEW guitar amps. These sockets
are almost identical to the other China J-slot sockets we sell except
the body steps
down at the bottom to go through a smaller hole in the chassis. We
recommend
this
socket for economy repairs to newer amplifiers or budget D.I.Y. guitar
amp projects.
