Lindy Fralin P90 Dog Ear Balanced Pair Pickups Set, -10% Neck
Fine upgrade for Gibson, Epiphone and other guitars equipped with dual P90 dog ear pickups. Set consists of one stock vintage wound bridge pickup and one 10% underwound neck pickup. Lindy has found that a 10%-15% underwound neck pickup offers the best balance of output and tone when combined with a stock vintage wound bridge position P90. This set has an RW/RP reverse wound/reverse magnetic polarity relationship. When the two pickups are combined this results in a significant reduction in hum and noise over conventional P90 pickups. Construction features of the Fralin 90 Dog Ear Balanced Pickup Set include two screw surface mount plastic dog ear pickup covers , adjustable pole pieces, Alnico IV bar magnets, vintage style dark enamel coil wire wound to approximately 10,000 turns on the neck pickup and 9,000 turns on the neck pickup, black plastic coil forms and '50s Gibson style single conductor output lead wires with braided outer shield. Fralin does not package mounting screws with this pickups set but we do. We'll include two pairs of long nickel plated round phillips head screws you'll find very handy. Specify black or cream covers.
