Hammond 290CX Power Transformer For Vintage Fender Guitar Amps. Designed by Hammond for 'drop in' replacement of the original Fender power transformers found on old Vibrolux, Vibrolux Reverb and Tremolux amplifiers. Material used and design specs. were kept as close as possible to the original to preserve the stock tone. Physically designed to look similar to the original; transverse/'sideways' through the chassis mounting. Mounts to chassis with four integral machine screws; mounting centers approx. 3&3/16"X2&17/32". Looks like this one would require an approx. 2&5/8"X2&1/8" rectangular opening in the chassis. Primary 120VAC. Secondaries 325-0-325@180mA for high voltage, 50V bias tap, 5V@3A for rectifier, 6.3VCT@4A for filaments.
