Spot welded heavy duty construction, all four sides are folded in for strength and bottom plate mounting. Chassis bottom plate is punched with 4 holes. 10mm (.40" lip on open end for mounting bottom plate/top plate, etc. (Chassis bottom plate available as a separate item). Natural aluminum finish. Very easily punched out for sockets, transformers and other parts.For a nice finish, try Hammerite faux Marantz bronze hammertone spray paint, black wrinkle finish for a '20s radio look, or take your chassis to an industrial finishing shop for black Polane-T epoxy paint or powder coating.
