Fender Tone-Master Power Transformer. "Multivolt" primaries easily configurable for 100/120/230/240V. We'll be happy to send you a XEROX schematic for the Tonemaster with your purchase of this transformer. To hook this sucker up for 120V, connect the BLACK/RED and BLACK/YELLOW striped wires together with the WHITE leg of the AC line, then connect the BLACK/GREEN striped and the solid BLACK wires to the BLACK leg of the AC line, and finally just cover the remaining solid white wire on the primary of this transformer with a wire nut . For safety, be sure that your circuit/chassis ground connects with the GREEN ground wire from the AC line. With 120VAC in I measured 6.79VAC across the two green filament wires, 56.2VAC across the two brown "bias" (?) wires, 348VAC across the two red high voltages wires, and 174.3VAC across the red/yellow center tap wire and each of the two red high voltage wires (the center tap is marked "UNUSED" on the Tone-Master schematic...). If you're considering a D.I.Y. guitar amp with four 6L6s and a handful of small signal tubes, this iron might be the ticket. Measures approx. 5.25"X3.75"X4.675" tall. Weighs almost fifteen pounds!
