Fender Deluxe Reverb Power Transformer
Fender Deluxe Reverb reissue power transformer, Mounts transversely/'sideways'through a rectangular hole in the chassis but does not fit '60s amps exactly. According to our customer feedback it's a tight fit in '60s amps. There's one white and one black wire for the 120VAC primary. Secondaries include two solid red and one red/yellow (center tap) high voltage wires. I measured 337VAC across one solid red wire and the red/yellow high voltage center tap wire, and 674VAC across both solid red wires. There's also two solid green wires for 6.3VAC, and two solid yellow wires for 5 volt rectifier tube filament .There's also an additional red/blue wire (bias tap?); I measured 38VAC across this wire and the red/yellow high voltage center tap wire. Bolt mounting centers measure approx. 3.1875"X 2.5", requires a minimum rectangular opening in the chassis approx. 2.75"X2". Use this transformer with a wide variety of old small but honkin' tube guitar amps. Use this one to build our SUPER SINGLE-ENDED guitar amp project and you'll get 370VDC on the plates of a pair of 6V6GT. See our HOW TO... section for even more information. Fender Part #041316.
